Electronic returns is a supplementary service for those using Scanning Solution. You can now receive back material that is not to be processed by us via e-mail. This is cheaper, faster and also more environmentally friendly than normal post despatch.
Daily returns of material that is not to be processed include, for example, incomplete and incorrect invoices, reminders, claims and debt collection. We scan the documents, remove them from your invoice file and send them instead as a daily e-mail to your company. We also archive the material, so that it remains available whenever you may need it. Documents that cannot be scanned or that exceed 2Mb are sent by normal post as previously.

How it works
Scanning support takes care of updating e-mail addresses and handles any messages that do not reach the recipient. State either a common e-mail address or one address per BGC ID. If you choose the latter, you must create a common address for messages that cannot be sorted due to incorrect BGC ID. It is an advantage to have group mailboxes for e-mail addresses. In this way, you know that returns will be taken care of and it will be easier to manage.
We always attach images of documents that have been removed and write a line on why they have been removed. You may receive several e-mails on the same day, because of the limited possibility of sending large files.
All documents are stamped with a search number when scanned and are physically archived together with your invoices. Any documents you need to get back can be ordered via scanning support as usual.
As at present, certain material is thrown away, such as periodicals, advertising material and invoice copies (if we have the original).
