Swish enables payments in seconds, from one bank account to another, using your mobile phone. This means that you can make payments instantly - when and where you want. The only details you need are the other Swish user's mobile number or their Swish number if you want to make transfers to a company, association or organisation.
In order to enable the Swish payment system, the bank offering the service has to connect to Bankgirot's payment system, Payments in Real Time.
The Swish service is a collaboration between Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, Länsförsäkringar Bank, Nordea, Skandia, SEB and Swedbank, with Bankgirot as provider.
